This Cormorant is a Fine Art original illustration hand drawn with Faber Castell coloured pencils on smooth cartridge paper 300gsm. This high quality illustration took many hours to draw and has captured the flow of the Cormorant feathers as he dries himself in the sun. It will make a wonderful addition or centre piece to any room in the home.
This original comes with an authenticity certificate and is signed by the artist.
The artwork will be posted securely in protective packaging, with a cardboard backing board and posted in a cardboard wrap mailer with security pull.

Kevin Davies is a contemporary wildlife artist working in coloured pencils on cartridge paper. As a teenager Kevin spent many hours roaming the Staffordshire Moorlands observing and illustrating birds and animal, fascinated by the variety of colours depicted in nature. He studied Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography at Stafford College of Art where he gained a City & Guilds. His creative style depicts an image which is exaggerated by softened coloured pencil strokes. There are elements of detail combined with contrasting blending techniques. Kevin now lives in Dartmouth, Devon, where he is inspired by the variety of wildlife on the River Dart and its many rugged coastal paths. Since retiring, Kevin has returned to illustrating wildlife and continues to expand his portfolio. Kevin is currently successfully selling some of his original illustrations and prints in the Dartmouth White Sails Gallery.
