An original watercolour picture in landscape format, on Bockingford watercolour paper 140lbs, completed in 2016.
A large tawny coloured world or moon dominates this picture, taking up most of the lower right side of the image. The surface has texture and looks a bit rough, but there are no meteor strike marks. So this globe may not be the moon.
From the vantage point of this globe, planet Earth is bright and showing off the eastern hemisphere for a change. The light of the Earth & this globe contract well with the dark, star spangled background.
