This expressionistic figure is painted in a fashion magazine pose, fast and loose, no pun intended. Avoiding too much detail and concentrating on the fast pace and vigorous strokes to convey the essence in a flash. With bold abstract shaped colours and quick marker line, it represented the immediate graphic design a studio would need to visualize the drama. The figure face and half shirt completed is to add under colour and encourage the viewer's imagination and prompt a reaction. The portrait pose is more traditional, but more expressionistic to exaggerate features.
