Description
As I worked on this dove painting, I found myself drawn less to the birds themselves and more to what they represented: connection, trust and the quiet strength found in togetherness.
The dark background allows the doves to appear almost luminous, emerging from the shadows with a soft, ethereal light. It gives the piece a spiritual quality, transforming it from a simple wildlife painting into a reflection on love, peace and human connection.
The subtle layers of white, soft violet, blush pink and cool blue were chosen deliberately to create a sense of calm and stillness. I wanted the painting to feel like a pause—a moment of quiet reflection in an increasingly busy world.
For me, Quiet Devotion is about the gentle bonds that sustain us. The relationships, friendships and acts of kindness that often speak the loudest when no words are needed.
Original wildlife art inspired by mindfulness, connection and the beauty of nature.
