This painting is part of a series called Between Land and Shore. The series reflects the meeting of land, water and sky through simplified forms and layers of textured colour. Pieces in the series capture places that are both real and remembered.

Note that due to the heavily textured finish this piece looks best in soft lighting. The design is continued over each edge of the canvas. The painting is ready to hang. Only top quality acrylic paints have been used - primarily Golden. Finished with satin varnish to protect the piece.
