Description
Billy Trevaskis was a Cornish smuggler from long ago. He is playing cards at his local pub, awaiting the next tide, when rum and brandy will be taken and secreted in caves.
It was a dangerous occupation and anyone caught would be hanged.
The inspiration for this painting came from the legends of Cornwall and the style of the old master painters.
Perfect for that small space in your collection.
