By a Sparkling Stream Oil

By a Sparking Stream came about from a memory that surfaced unexpected. It was an afternoon spent walking along the remnants of the Basingstoke end of the Basingstoke canal, the canal no longer goes all the way. The water does not move very much as it is contained. The summer afternoon was warm and sunny the water did indeed sparkle leaving an indelible memory that surprised me on an autumn day.
Painted on a burnt sienna ground, framed in a plain frame hand painted in a specially mixed soft white. Signed titled and dated on the reverse. Shipped with a track and trace identity carefully packed in mostly recycled materials.
