Coastal Path Oil

Contemporary Impressionism.

This is the Gower coastal path from Rhossili, winding along steep cliffs above brilliant blue waters. I captured the scene on a beautiful summer day whilst walking the clifftops, enchanted by the wild heather and gorse in full bloom carpeting the hillsides in vibrant pinks and golds. The rugged rock formations jutting into the sea and the sweeping views along the coastline made for an unforgettable vista. I completed the painting back home in my studio, working to preserve the intensity of that coastal light and colour.

The painting continues around the edges so framing is optional. Signed on the front, varnished and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
