Description
Description (under 1000 characters):
This artwork is a multilayered story told through shape, texture, and symbolism. The silhouette of a woman at the center holds a striking contrast: the cool clarity of Jack Daniel’s Honey — a symbol of sweet addiction — and the warm, natural textures of handpicked dried flowers. The burlap pouch seems to cradle the essence within: fragile grasses, pinecones, wheat, and blooms that evoke memory, life, and nature. It’s a dialogue between destruction and creation, the fleeting and the eternal. The piece resurrects emotion, reminding us of struggle, of beauty in imperfection, and the strength in returning to our roots. The epoxy resin preserves a moment — frozen, yet alive. This work was created with the intention to say something important: “It’s time to stop and choose life!”
