Textured Turquoise & Gold Abstract Painting – Inner Tide Acrylic

Inner Tide is a richly textured original abstract painting by Edelgard Schroer, combining deep turquoise and petrol tones with luminous gold and dark, atmospheric accents.

The surface is an essential part of this artwork. Layer upon layer of acrylic paint and structural materials creates raised lines, organic patterns, fine cracks and tactile areas that catch the light differently throughout the day. Golden passages emerge from the darker turquoise background like traces of light, minerals or fragments shaped by water and time.

Despite its strong texture, the composition has a calm, almost meditative quality. The elongated 100 × 50 cm format gives the painting a contemporary presence and makes it particularly effective above a sideboard, sofa or console.

The artwork is presented in a black floater frame. The narrow dark border visually deepens the turquoise tones and allows the gold details and textured surface to stand out beautifully.
