Description

Have you ever seen a painting that feels like you could reach out and touch it? That’s exactly what I aimed for with my sunflower piece, “Up in the Clouds.”

I used texture paste with a stencil to build up the petals and center of the sunflower, creating a raised, almost sculpted effect on the canvas. Once the texture dried, I layered soft, dreamy colors around it to give the feeling of the sunflower floating high in the sky.
