Description
You will find this view at one end of the village of Denford in Northamptonshire. I came across it when the river was flooded on a grey day, and decided I would return to take some photographs when the waters had receded and the sun was out! So, one sunny day, that's what I did.
I like the way the distant view of the church spire invites you to look along the river, and as you look out, there is so much to captivate your attention with the reflection of the trees in the water. I think green is a very restful colour, but there is a nice contrast between the textured green of the trees and blue reflection of the sky in the river. I used acrylic paint on canvas to create this artwork.
I take every care when packaging paintings. They are firstly wrapped in acid free tissue, and then double wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the canvas. The painting is then placed in a custom made box which is securely taped up and then wrapped in brown paper ready for dispatch. The painting is unframed and ready to hang.
