Description
An original watercolour picture in portrait format, on Bockingford watercolour paper 250lbs. Completed on 8th February, 2021.
Although on a bright sunny day, the bloke is wearing a jacket, so it is far from warm.
Another anomaly, is that this frog represents the African Bullfrog, one of the largest in the world and the only truely carnivorous one. However they can make good intertaining pets, but they can be very onerous or grumpy and can deliver a nasty bite. Being dragged along a path in the cold would probably kill it, but this species of frog would certainly try and do everything to disable it's owner. When angry or scared, they instictively aim for their tormentor's groin!
This is a "tongue in cheek" look at pet owenership. Impossible to get this frog to hop or leap on demand. It would sort You out! The owner looks equally fed-up. Dogs are far better!!!
An unusual picture well worth a good home, as are it's portrayed characters.
