Description
A view of Slieve League Cliffs in Donegal, Ireland, which are amongst the highest sea cliffs in Europe, rising 601 meters (1,972 ft) above the Atlantic Ocean—nearly three times higher than the Cliffs of Moher.). These dramatic, quartzite cliffs offer spectacular coastal views, hiking paths like the Pilgrim’s Path, and a quieter, more rugged alternative to other Irish landmarks, often accessed via a shuttle from a lower parking area. It was a very misty day and I have attempted to re-create the atmosphere, using many layers of glazes to show the mist. The painting is ready to hang and I have attached D-rings. However, the edges, although painted in keeping with the colours in the painting, are only 1.5 cms in width so, if preferred, it can be framed.
Please note ` in situ` images are not to scale.
A Certificate of Authenticity is supplied with the painting.
