Description

Here is my portrait in oil of the magnificent flamboyant James Brown. It's painted in oil on a strong box canvas it is sealed with mat varnish.
There is texture and build up of paint in his face I have tried to show in the photos.
As you may know James Brown died suddenly in 2006 he continued to work right up to his death . He has often been called the Godfather of soul .
My portrait is of his younger days.
