Penrhos Cottage Pembrokeshire Oil

This is an original, hand-painted oil painting on canvas of the historic Penrhos Cottage near Maenclochog, Pembrokeshire. First built around 1800 it was a Ty Unnos- a one night house where travelling workers stayed .Rebuilt in 1849 using stone and a mixture of clay, mud and straw. I have depicted the cottage as it may have looked around this time. It is painted in oil on Italian cotton canvas, varnished and finished with veneer wood edging .Strung ready to hang or can be framed at a later time . The size is 35cms x 45 cms
