Sacrifice The Light. Do we sacrifice our inner light to please others? Being authentic is a human right. Deep ochres and golds blend in a dance of hot maroon. A blue-cyan and aquamarine achieve the balance.
The “Sacrifice” series of works utilises many layers. The sacrifice occurs when masking overlays paint that, in itself, is quite pleasing. Each “Sacrifice” peace relates to some worldly aspect that may need to be abandoned or protected.
