Goddess Danu is a very special guardian and is considered to be the Great Mother of our planet. According to the ancient people who once inhabited Ireland, the Tuatha Danan, Danu is the Great Mother. The name Danu also means Protector of Water. She is the caretaker of the blessed water on our planet. She watches over the oceans, lakes, rivers, streams and especially wells and mountain springs. She is also the protector of the small delicate flowers. Danu says, “My speciality is with water, springs, some air/plants and flowers. The most tiny precious ones in the mountain tops. I help to protect these tiny beauties.”

Beautiful Danu tells us that “each droplet of water is a miraculous molecular wonder of infinite worlds of possibilities and reminds us of our job to keep it pure and harmonious.” There are many other beautiful beings that are also assisting with protecting the water. Danu supervises and works with the Faerie realm who are also caretakers for our planet. She brings comfort and healing to our hearts and to the heart of the planet.
