The sun hits a flint wall of an old abbey. Apart from a single cloud, it is a bright day. You, the viewer, looks through an arched window onto a scene back in Tudor times.
In the distance two men in period costume, sit on a wall taking in the sun. The smaller of the two, appears to be a bit unsteady, maybe a bit tipsy, a tavern is just across the road. The chimney does look a bit too modern, but who knows ? maybe such styles did exist then? Enjoy.
