The Wave Oil

The Wave is the first painting in my newest collection of the study of water, oceans, sea and lakes. I love water and always have. For me, it is soothing and relaxing. Even when it is adversely affected by the weather, I find it fascinating - hence the first painting is a crashing wave and the movement within the wave which I must admit is the most challenging subject I have tackled to date. It is painted in Winsor and Newton Alkyd Oils on Jacksons premium stretched canvas.
