View from the Bridge was painted from sketches and photographs taken from my latest visit to Monet's Garden at Giverny. A dreamlike quality was intended and the distant trees draw you away from the bridge and deeper into the garden. The wisteria hangs over the bridge in graceful recements, and the air is sweetly perfumed with their scent as they gently sway and rustle in the light summer breeze.

Painted with lively brush strokes and thickly applied vibrant oil paints; this is a unique and spectacular statement piece full of vivacity and drama.

Signed on the front and back, varnished and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
