At the lake Mixed Media

I enjoy the nature and tranquillity of the surrounding lakes as often as I can, whatever the time of year. There is so much to discover, birds sing in every bush, cranes fly and there is a sparkle in the air. Clouds pile up and compete with the blue of the sky.
I tried to capture this atmosphere with the different materials acrylic and charcoal.

My creative process is often characterised by intuition and spontaneity. I let my inner world guide me and try out different techniques. I often start with an abstract sketch and then work in layers of colour to create depth and texture. It's a dance between control and letting go, where I always incorporate surprising elements into my work.
