Autumn Hues Acrylic

This view is of the River Taff in Cardiff, with some lovely mature trees showing signs of autumn colour reflecting in the water. One of our sons went to university in Cardiff, so we got to know the area a little while he was there, and I took this reference photograph during one of our visits. I enjoyed the lovely combination of colours and textures in the foliage of the trees contrasting with the gentle ripples in the river as the water slowly made it's way downstream, reflecting all the colour around it. The painting has been created using acrylic paint on canvas, and is unframed and ready to hang.

I take every care when packaging paintings. They are firstly wrapped in acid free tissue, and then double wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the canvas. The painting is then placed in a custom made box which is securely taped up and then wrapped in brown paper ready for dispatch.
