The quiet trust exists when we dare to face what we once feared.
The raven rests calmly on the hand of a young woman, not as a threat, but as a presence.
I painted this work using rich oil textures and layered brushstrokes to create depth within the background and softness within the skin tones. The almost monochrome palette allows emotion to lead the eye.
This is a portrait of inner dialogue — a conversation between shadow and grace.
