Description

This work features the strange, organic shapes of one of the stone pinnacles on Derwent Moor in Derbyshire. The foreground is all about the vibrant purple heather which briefly lights up the moorland countryside in the area. This is a well worn walking route and I was struck by the solitude I enjoyed for several minutes whilst sheltering from the wind.
