Lavender Garden Mixed Media

A painting in mixed media, oil and acrylic on canvas. Vivid color palates of the different shades of violet entangled with yellow and purple pink are spread all over the body. The complex texture of many hues has created a volume and energy. My depiction of a lavender garden that I cross every time I walk through Hyde park in London. I could feel the deep smell of lavender whenever I look at this piece. The piece is about my feeling of color, touch and embodiment of a flower that is ethereal in this world.
