Description
During May I went sketching in a nearby village that has a mill, there are a number of old mills along the the banks of the Loddon. The river rises in withy beds and a scrubby tangle of fallen trees and reeds. The Loddon emerges from a dark neglected wood. When I was there the sun burst through the undergrowth illuminating the water , it was a glittering scene. I have carried the image in my head and now in July the scene has finally been created in oils. Titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box dispatched with a track and trace identity.
