Description
Another similar to stormy teasel field on a calmer day. A field of endless dried teasels along by the river Stour in Sandwich Kent. There were masses of them standing like soldiers on an area of waste ground just waiting to be painted. A few swallows were preparing to leave at the end of the season. Sadly they were ploughed in this year but I've at least managed to capture the joy of wild plants left to nature.
Mixed media; oil, acrylic, ink & a touch of gold in warm orange and brown hues. Painted onto canvas which has been mounted on board ready for your own choice of frame. Sealed for durability. Frame not included.
