Description
I painted a quiet shore where an elephant wanders past a stranded ship, both out of place in each other’s worlds. This scene speaks of displacement and the fragile persistence of memory — the ship's taut lines and the elephant’s heavy steps mark a search for meaning after the chart has failed. The moon watches indifferently, suggesting that even under distant light we can lose our bearings; yet the calm sea and soft sand offer a fragile promise of new paths.
