The Rock Pool Acrylic

I love walking along a beach when there aren't too many people around, watching the sun slowly set over the sea, and Druidston in Pembrokeshire has a lovely beach to do just that. I took the reference photograph for this painting there. I liked the radiance of the sun setting over the expanse of sea, and the detail of rocks which were visible under the water in the nearby rock pool. The cool colours and calm sea created a peaceful scene.

This artwork was created using acrylic paint on canvas, and is unframed and ready to hang. I take every care when packaging paintings. They are firstly wrapped in acid free tissue, and then double wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the canvas. The painting is then placed in a custom made box which is securely taped up and then wrapped in brown paper ready for dispatch.
