Hellebores Watercolours

A framed modern botanical watercolour painting of the magical hellebore. I have always been enthralled since a small child by these flowers that grew in quiet corners of the garden and popped through the leaf litter so early in the year. Their use in witchcraft as a hallucinogen is comparable to the mandrake.
