Description
A rocky bay on the remote Exmoor Coast. A sunny walk through the trees down the steep path to the stony beach. Swam in the cold rocky water and when home painted the scene. Needed to show large stones in the sea so put a collection - from Kent seashore - into a bowl of water - which brought out the lovely colours and patterns. To good to “let go” so did a painting of them. Oil and charchol.
