Highly pigmented, heavy body acrylic Abstract painting. Artist using a thick consistency of Artist viscosity paint. Colours are applied on the canvas with a palette knife and dragged to create a butter effect which is more interesting and colourful.
The figure is painted in large single bold strokes with bright colours emphasized painterly qualities and strong shapes over the representational or realistic values retained by observation. Very little colour mixing is done, and pure tube colours are premixed, but are mixed on the canvas with every stroke producing the colour the Artist requires with a single stoke learnt over many years of mixing and painting.
Thick and lush paint has a unique dimensional abstract quality.
It is surprising how little information is needed for the eye and mind to make up the full picture. Highly pigmented, heavy body acrylic paint, using a creamy thick consistency of Artist viscosity colours.
