Onwards and Upwards, a euphoric Autumn Road landscape painting Oil

A colourful impressionist style oil painting of an autumn path leading through trees to a serene and inviting horizon beyond. It is 48x24x1.5 inches. This painting was inspired by a landscape in East Sussex which I have walked many times. This area is close to the sea and eventually descends to a river valley with hills surrounding it and a few small villages with 1000-year-old churches. There is a particular point where the road is crossed by a farm track and it looks like an arrow pointing enticingly onwards. It is one of my favourite vistas in Sussex and never fails to gift me with the solace and exhilaration of nature whenever I visit, no matter what the season is.
