Description

In this sculpture I have incorporated what normally would be a plain wooden base into the sculpture. Still keeping a contrast between the warmth of the wood and the cool steel of the bird. The wooden base is carved from a single piece of vintage hardwood. The bird is formed from shaped and welded steel protected by a lacquered finish.
