Blue Current – Blue and Gold Textured Abstract Painting Acrylic

Blue Current is a large original abstract painting in rich shades of teal, turquoise and deep blue, contrasted by warm gold and bronze tones. Its strongly textured surface stretches across the panoramic canvas like a mysterious current, creating depth, movement and an almost tactile landscape.

I built the central passage through numerous layers of texture and acrylic paint. Raised structures, irregular traces and weathered-looking details catch the light, allowing the golden areas to shift subtly depending on the viewing angle. A sweeping lighter form moves through the composition, adding energy to the otherwise deep and atmospheric palette.

The combination of cool blues and warm metallic tones gives Blue Current a powerful yet sophisticated presence. Its long 150 x 50 cm format makes it particularly striking above a sofa, sideboard or bed and works beautifully in a modern interior.

The sides are painted, so the artwork can be displayed without an additional frame and is ready to hang.
