This is a large painting inspired by the Medieval Cloister Gardens of the Middle Ages, often known as Gardens of Love or of Paradise. Unfortunately, no real garden of this time remains to us now.
My reference material was gathered from images of the reconstructed Cloister Garden at the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

Chunky canvas, painted around the edges to provide a contemporary unframed statement piece, available for UK collectors only.
