Description
"The emotions are sometimes so strong that I work without knowing it. the strokes come like speech."
I created this piece to celebrate what happens when we strip everything away and leave only truth. No colour, no distraction — just the raw, powerful conversation between shadow and light.
I began with the quiet — the stillness of the pale, empty surface. Then I moved. Not with a plan, but with feeling. The black paint swept on — sometimes heavy and deliberate, sometimes fast and spontaneous. I let my arm guide me, trusting every gesture, letting each stroke respond to the one before it. Lines tangled and separated; shapes formed and dissolved. What emerged is a portrait of energy itself — the push and pull, the noise and the silence, the wildness that lives in all of us.
The black is not darkness — it is strength, passion, and intensity. The white is not emptiness — it is space, clarity, and possibility. Together they remind us that we need both — the bold and the quiet, the storm and the calm — to feel truly whole.
This painting is for anyone who has ever felt a whirlwind of emotion inside — and found a way to let it out. It is unapologetic. It is balanced. It is human.
