Description

This is a composition created from photographs taken in one of the local parks, then edited in Photoshop, but without the use of AI (I never use it). The goal is to construct new, meta-associations, highlighting the photograph’s most expressive fragments.

In general, my work centres on nature, especially small and often overlooked forms: individual branches, twigs, flowers, and fallen leaves. Almost every day, I photograph fragments of the natural world and later isolate them from their backgrounds to emphasise their beauty and expressive power. Through digital composition, these elements are transformed into visual meditations on existential moods and emotional states.

This particular work will be printed only in a limited edition of 10 copies maximum. I order a print of the current size (12 x 16 inches) from Pixa Prints, and I am satisfied with the quality of their prints. They print my works on photo paper with a glossy or luster finish, depending on how I want my work to be perceived. But you can order this work in either of these two options.

This particular composition was composed from fragments of three photographs: a dandelion bush, a piece of torn grass on the sidewalk that I noticed while walking through the park, and fallen maple seeds. I sorted each of them, removing their backgrounds, which were captured in the photograph, and then combined all three elements into a single composition. I work in a similar manner on other compositions.
