Description
Afternoon view of a ripening field of wheat in the mid summer sunshine at Auvers-sur-Oise, a location made famous by Vincent Van Gogh during his stay in the town on the River Oise to the north west of Paris. He painted one of his masterpieces 'Wheatfield with Crows' here in 1890 before he died and is buried alongside his brother Theo in the local cemetery, a pilgrimage site for his many devotees.
Printed by Kernow Fine Art in Cornwall, each print comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered on the front in pencil together with the image title.
