Between Worlds Acrylic

Between Worlds is an original textured abstract painting by German artist Edelgard Schroer, combining deep petrol green, turquoise, earthy olive tones and warm antique gold in a mysterious, atmospheric composition.

A striking circular form in the upper part of the painting immediately draws the eye. Created in a rich mixture of gold and antique gold, its cracked, weathered surface suggests an ancient celestial body, a distant world or a fragment of something long forgotten.

Below, deep green and turquoise tones flow through the composition, surrounded by softly blended shades of olive, brown, sand and muted gold.

The painting is characterised by its richly layered surface. Raised structures, fine cracks, organic patterns and delicate lines create an intricate relief that invites closer exploration. The interplay between smooth passages and heavily textured areas gives the artwork an almost archaeological quality, as though hidden traces of another world were gradually emerging.

Despite its complex surface, Between Worlds has a quiet, contemplative presence. Its earthy colour palette and subtle metallic accents make it particularly appealing for contemporary interiors, natural living spaces and rooms featuring wood, stone or warm neutral furnishings.

With its generous 80 × 80 cm square format, this original abstract painting makes a distinctive statement without overwhelming its surroundings.
