Description
I enjoy the way Gerhard Richter uses a squeegy and palette knife to apply paint .By applying layers of paint scraping back and applying more colour you can achieve some interesting effects In terms of shapes and forms .Also by using the squeegy to apply layers it picks up colour from previous layers and redistribute it onto different parts of the canvas in a random and accidental way .The results are quite satisfying and intriguing. It's freeing and liberating .
