Golden Blue Forest Light Acrylic

This unique, original artwork is inspired by the natural beauty of the woods near my home. In the late afternoon, the light shifts creating soft blues, greens, and apricot tones. With a touch of imagination and fantasy I have captured the setting sun as birch trees cast long shadows across the forest floor. I’m always drawn to the magical evening light filtering through the trees, it is a constant source of creative energy that will bring a sense of calm to any space.
Created using acrylic paints on a thin-edged canvas (suitable for framing), this piece is the result of a thoughtful and layered process. It begins with on-site observation, sketches, and photographs, which I then develop in the studio. The painting evolves in layers applied into richly textured surfaces using impasto techniques and a palette knife. The final work sits somewhere between abstraction and realism, with a contemporary feel grounded in a deep connection to nature. The painting comes with a cord attached at the back and a certificate of authenticity.
