Circle of Calm
The idea of this painting came from a quiet morning by the ocean. The waves weren’t crashing, they were moving in soft, circular rhythms, folding into themselves instead of rushing outward.
It felt different. Peaceful, but not still.
In that moment, I realized calm doesn’t mean everything stops; it means everything flows without resistance.
That’s why the painting is round, with waves pulling inward toward a quiet center. It reflects the idea that no matter how much movement or noise surrounds us, there’s always a place within where things can settle.
Circle of Calm is about returning to that space.
