Fractured Current Mixed Media

This abstract work explores the tension between structure and disruption. Built through layered modeling paste and fluid acrylic ink, the composition combines sculptural relief with gestural movement across a horizontal format.

The surface is developed in multiple layers, allowing texture to become an essential structural element. Dense rust tones and deep greys interact with lighter atmospheric passages, creating contrast between weight and openness.

The central horizontal form suggests interrupted movement - a fractured current that remains active beneath the surface. Subtle metallic accents emerge from within the textured layers, reinforcing the sense of transformation through pressure.

Light interacts with the raised areas of modeling paste, creating shifting shadows and dimensional depth depending on viewing angle.

Shipping:
For safe international delivery, the artwork will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a protective tube. It can be professionally re-stretched upon arrival.
