Raw Sediment Mixed Media

Bring depth, texture, and understated luxury to your space with Raw Sediment — an original, one-of-a-kind sculptural painting designed for modern minimalist, industrial, and wabi-sabi interiors.
This piece explores the tactile dialogue between profound, light-absorbing darkness and radiant metallic warmth. The heavy, three-dimensional gypsum texture evokes primordial geological strata, while the luminous gold leaf acts as a precious mineral vein unearthed by time. Sharp vertical channels slice through a weathered golden orb, creating a striking contrast with the organic, flowing contours of the relief and the rhythmic sequence of geometric squares.
Every layer of this artwork is meticulously crafted by hand, offering a rich surface that shifts and comes alive under changing room lighting.
