Artistic background

I trained and worked as a graphic designer for many years but now work as a visual artist producing work using traditional drawing and painting techniques, digital art and fine art photography.
My work is inspired by the countryside that surrounds me, the places I visit and my interests in science, philosophy the arts and culture.
I’m constantly seeking ways to create a new visual aesthetic in the work I produce. Blurring the lines between photography, print making and painting. In particular have a passion for: colour, texture and composition.
I’ll often revisit the same subject or image using different techniques, seeking new and unexpected outcomes.
