I start each work using acrylic paints just to cover the canvas. From there I begin building, layer upon layer. I use a wide range of mediums and techniques, from acrylic paints, brushes, cloth, fingers paper pieces anything unfortunate enough to be within reach to create sweeping marks across the piece.

Artistic background

Abstract art is a way to me to translate my intangible feelings and emotions into physical pieces as a layer of art that you can touch.
Creating abstract figurative art is a complicated feat, sometimes difficult to understand. But once it is understood and liked, the outcome makes me happy, and it is worth it.

Every single painting has its own voice. There is always a story happening behind. I use the titles of my work to give viewers a clue or a way in to thinking about the work, to leave it open to change the name later.
