Artistic background

I’m a contemporary artist inspired by atmosphere, emotion, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments. My work combines expressive colour, light, and texture to create paintings that feel both cinematic and personal. Drawing influence from European street scenes, coastal landscapes, portraiture, and modern impressionism, I aim to capture mood as much as image.

Having spent years working with my hands in skilled trades before fully embracing painting, I bring a raw, practical understanding of structure and composition into my artwork. Much of my work is driven by instinct rather than strict realism, allowing emotion, movement, and storytelling to guide each piece.

Through oil painting and mixed techniques, I explore themes of memory, identity, beauty, and connection — creating work designed not only to be seen, but felt.
