Artistic background
My path as an artist started in theater, designing sets; large, expressive environments that helped bring stories to life. That experience gave me a lasting appreciation for scale, composition, and the power of visual storytelling. In my earlier years, I also explored street art and graffiti, which taught me to be bold and spontaneous with my work. Over time, though, my focus has shifted toward a more traditional, impressionistic style—rooted in observation, atmosphere, and the quiet beauty of the everyday.
I took a detour through the world of IT and telecommunications for a while, but art was always calling me back. During the 2020 lockdowns, I returned to painting with new focus and produced a series of works that reconnected me with my creative roots. That body of work led to my first solo show, and since then, I’ve continued to paint and exhibit.
These days, I take my inspiration from the Rockport Art Association of impressionist painters, where my work now is about capturing light, mood, and the timeless qualities of the landscapes and subjects that inspire me.
